There are Agonist Maintenance Treatments, Narcotic Antagonist Treatment Using Naltrexone, Outpatient Drug-Free Treatment, Long-Term Residential Treatment, Short-Term Residential Programs, Medical Detoxification and Treating Criminal Justice-Involved Drug Abusers and Addicts.

Tramadol is NOT scheduled at a federal level that requires a prescription. This is a fact. feel free to look it up yourself.

Scheduling of this drug is performed at the state level, with some states like Kentucky scheduling it as a drug with potential for abuse and thus requiring a prescription.
I have searched in vain for proof/evidence that California DOES schedule this drug in the same fashion.
