Question by Hmmm: Is it normal for a drug-addict to only be attracted to drug-addicts?
I’m a 23 year old very functional not highly addicted drug-addict/alcoholic. But it doesn’t matter what I am. I drink like once or twice a week, smoke weed 4 or 5 times a week and do other drugs maybe 10 times a year. Some people may argue I’m not an addict, but I know I am.
But my question is, is it normal for me to only find interest in other drug-addicts/alcoholics.

my doctor just told me about it because of my acne and he wants me to take it because it helps. However when I got home I started doing some research about it and i’ve heard alot of people saying not to take it because of all the long term side effects. I haven’t really tried anything to get rid of my acne except drinking water, washing my face, eating healthier etc. I’ve read that accutane is extremely dangerous, but alot of these posts are from a few years ago so im curious is anything has changed or is it still a last resort, risky medicine to take?

A prominent pharmacy consultant is calling for the Australian Federal Government to ban the use of homeopathic treatments on children.
From the article, “Homeopathy not for children: pharmacist”:-
His comments come after a British parliamentary panel found homeopathy was “scientifically implausible” and should no longer be licensed by medicine regulators.
“I think what the TGA should do is not allow homeopathic medicines to be used or sold for children up to the age of 12,” he said.
