Question by Helder: Why is it that the first born pays the biggest price for the self-destructive behaviour of parents?
The first born seems to adopt a parent’s self destructive behaviour. Alcoholism or drug addiction seems to trickle down to the first born. Younger siblings have the option to learn from their older siblings mistakes.

i’ve never noticed that. i think no matter where you fall in the birth order if you have parents who are self destructive you are going to end up with issues over it.
